BESTY SOLD PRICE SEARCH Step One
Finding the original price for a sold item on etsy.com is a two step process.
First perform a title-only search on a sold item to see if there may be a cached version of the item listing that includes the price, and
Second perform a [cache:] search for the listing on Google.
This tool will walk you through the steps. To use it, you will need the exact title of the sold item you are searching for as it appears in the listing.
Copy and paste the title into the search box below, and click the Search button
Note: This method will not work for all items, only those that were cached by Google prior to being sold, and which have not yet been updated. For this reason, the method works best on items that have sold in the past few days.
What if I don't want these prices visible? There are a couple things you could try. The first is simply to wait a little while. Eventually, Google will revisit your item listing and take a snapshot of the "Item Sold Out" version, which will replace the version with the price showing.
Or, Google does have a program where site owners can request that cached pages be removed from Google. Etsy is the site owner for your listings. I don't know if they will make the request of Google on your behalf, but you might ask them.
